Pressing the door lock switch twice within two secondswill override this feature.The delayed locking feature can be turned on or off foreach remote transmitter.To turn the feature on:1. Press and hold the power door lock switchthroughout this procedure. All the doors will lock.2. Press the UNLOCK button on the remote transmitter.The lock delay is still off and all doors will remainlocked.3. Press the UNLOCK button on the remotetransmitter again. Lock delay is now active andall doors will unlock.4. Release the power door lock switch.To turn this feature off, repeat the above procedure.If your vehicle is not equipped with Remote KeylessEntry, use the following procedure to turn this feature onand off.1. With the ignition on, press and hold the power doorlock switch. All doors will lock.2. Toggle the headlamp switch seven times (off to on isconsidered one toggle). The doors will unlock toconfirm that the feature is now on.3. Release the power door lock switch.To turn this feature off, repeat the above procedure.Theft-Deterrent SystemThe key transmitter will arm the theft-deterrentsystem whenever the doors are closed and you pushthe LOCK button. It will disarm the system when youpush UNLOCK.2-11
