Resuming a Set SpeedSetting the cruise control at a desired speed and thenapplying the brake will end the cruise control function.Once you’re going about25 mph (40 h/h) or more,you can move the cruisecontrol switch from ON toR/A (Resume/Accelerate)for about half a second toreset. This returns you toyour desired preset speed.Increasing Speed While Using Cruise ControlThere are two ways to go to a higher speed:Use the acceleratorpedal to go to a higherspeed. I sh the button atthe end of the lever, thenrelease the button and1 the accelerator Dedal.You’ll now c2se at thehigher speed.Remember, if you hold the switch at R/A longer thanhalf a second, the vehicle will accelerate until yourelease the switch or apply the brake. You could bestartled and even lose control. So unless you want to gofaster, don’t hold the switch at R/A.
