PUSHBUTTONS: The six numbered pushbuttons letyou return to your favorite stations. You can set up to18 stations (six AM, six FM 1 and six FM2).1. Press AM-FM to select the band.2. Find the station you want by using TUNE or SEEK.3. Press TONE to select the setting you prefer.4. Press and hold one of the six numbered buttons.5. The sound will mute. When it returns, releasethe button. Whenever you press that numberedbutton, the station you set will return and theTONE you selected will be automatically selectedfor that button.P SCAN: Press this button to listen to each of yourpreset stations for a few seconds. The radio will go tothe first preset station, stop for a few seconds, then goon to the next preset station. Press P SCAN again to stopscanning. If a preset station has weak reception, theradio will not stop at the preset station.AUTO SET Press this button and the system will seekand set the 12 strongest FM or the 6 strongest AMstations on your preset buttons (depending on whichband (AM or FM) you are listening to). To return to thestations you manually set, press AUTO SET again.tting the ToneBASS: Press this knob lightly so it extends. Turn theknob to increase or decrease bass.TREB: Press this knob lightly so it extends. Turn theknob to increase or decrease treble.Push the knobs back in when you are not using them.TONE: This feature allows you to choose preset trebleand bass equalization settings designed for classical,pop, rock, jazz, talk and countrylwestern stations.CLASS will appear on the display when you first pressTONE. Each time you press it, another setting willappear on the display. Press it again after C & Wappears and MANUAL will appear. Tone control willreturn to the TREB and BASS knobs. Also, if you usethe TREB and BASS knobs, control will return to themand MANUAL will appear.sting iakersBAL: Press this knob lightly so it extends. Turn theknob to move the sound to the left or right speakers. Usethe middle position to balance these speakers.FADE: Turn the knob to move the sound to the front or reaspeakers. Use the middle position to balance these speakers.Push the knobs back in when you are not using them.
