• schedule of capital expenditure for the project life (by financial year includingproject start year);• schedule of revenue expenditure for the project life (by financial yearincluding project start year);• total funding received;• total funding committed (not yet received);• total funding potential; and• total additional funding required.Collate all the financial costs (physical spend) for the lifetime of the project.InstructionsStep one: Consider the shortlist options -• add/remove option… rows as appropriate to provide a set of three rows foreach shortlist option (option, capital, revenue); and• enter the option description in the corresponding box in the option’s row.Step two: For each shortlist option -• enter next key capital cost description (add capital cost rows asappropriate).• remove unused capital… rows as appropriate;• enter next key revenue cost description (add revenue cost rows asappropriate); and• remove unused revenue… rows as appropriate.Step three: Determine the financial years with funding for the life of theproject (year 0 is the start of the project and the financial year is April -March) -• add/remove year… columns as appropriate; and• replace the year heading with the physical financial year e.g. 09/10 etc.Step four: Option 1 for every cost over all the financial years -• enter the next capital cost’s total expenditure for the financial year in thecorresponding capital row, year box; and• enter the next revenue cost’s total expenditure for the financial year in thecorresponding revenue row, year box.Step five: Shortlist options except status quo -• repeat step four for each of the other options in turn.Step six: Totals for all Options• sum each of the year columns costs and enter the result in the option’scorresponding totals row box.If the table is being used for the affordability costs and not the cost of the solutionthen delete all the rows at the bottom of the table from Funded by: and it iscomplete.Cost of SolutionStep seven: For each option’s funding -eHealth - <strong>Programmes</strong> - <strong>Guide</strong> - Initial Agreement 37Objective: F3033421 1.1
