<strong>Don</strong> <strong>Field</strong> <strong>Decommissioning</strong> <strong>Programme</strong>DON-<strong>BP</strong>-001The immediate area of the <strong>Don</strong> manifold was characterised by more highly reflectivesediments comprising a superficial cover of coarse sands with exposures of theunderlying stiff clays of the Tampen Formation, together with boulders and a numberof depressions. Grab samples indicated the sediment to be poorly to very poorly sortedsand and silt.
