At present, our policy is extended to<br />

the group, our suppliers, contractors<br />

and NGOs.<br />

We did not receive any complaints in<br />

the last financial year.<br />

We have well-defined safety, health and<br />

environmental policy and principles in<br />

place, to motivate our employees and<br />

minimize our environmental impact.<br />

The policy and principles are also<br />

communicated to all our stakeholders<br />

and ensure that they are in compliance.<br />

At present, policies related to Principle<br />

6 cover only the Company (Indian<br />

Operations).<br />

environmental issues such as<br />

climate change, global warming,<br />

We are a responsible corporate,<br />

committed towards managing climate<br />

change, both within and beyond our<br />

sphere of influence. As such, we have<br />

internal commitments to address<br />

climate change and global warming.<br />

Through CDP (Carbon Disclosure<br />

Project), we publicly disclose our<br />

carbon footprint to all stakeholders, at<br />

regular intervals. In CDP 2014, we were<br />

the only corporate in the pharma sector<br />

to have scored 82 points in the Carbon<br />

Disclosure Leadership Index. (The CDP<br />

In this reporting period, our solar<br />

power utilization was 14 million units<br />

or 4.7% of the total power consumed.<br />

This reduced our carbon footprint by<br />

11,500 MT of CO 2<br />
