Ensuring events and activities are properly licensed with local authorities

Ensuring that funds are properly accounted for and information is passed on
to the Treasurer
To identify sponsorship opportunities and liaise with current club sponsors to
secure future funds.
Operate the RCJFC Shop and ensure adequate merchandise is available.
Identifying, applying and securing grants from local or national agencies.
Operation of the ‘Club Mark’ scheme www.clubmark.org.uk
Training Officer (Trg Off)
The Trg Off is responsible for the retention, training, organisation, recruitment and
welfare of a sufficient number of volunteers for the club to operate effectively on a
weekly and ongoing basis to meet Charter Requirements.
He/she will:
● Arrange and book new volunteers onto applicable courses e.g. Level 1
coaching, Safeguarding Children Workshops and First Aid courses.
● The monitoring of coaches qualifications and ensuring coaches complete
refresher training prior to expiration of their safeguarding children and first
aid qualifications.
● Providing support and advice to coaches for delivering effective training and
coaching techniques.
● Promoting the FA Licenced Coaching Club.

He/she will be responsible for the following tasks:

Preparing the team for matches.
Planning and preparing for training sessions and activities.
Ensuring all players get equal opportunity to take part in all club/team
activities.
Setting the right example for players on and off the field.
Educating players in the ethos of football and the values of being a true
sportsman.
Be fair in the treatment of all players at all times.
Conforming to all club and/or FA policies on young children in sport.
Attending coaching courses.
Ensuring all activities are safe and supervised at all times.
Goals and equipment used meet H&S requirements.
Medical kits are immediately available for both training and matches.
