❂ CREATIVE ARTS/PARENT PARTICIPATION NURSERY SCHOOLS<br />
PIX AR CARTOON WORKSHOP<br />
Learn to draw all your favorite cartoons from Buzz<br />
Lightyear, The Incredibles, to the characters in Ratatouille<br />
<strong>and</strong> WALL*E ! Matthew’s encouraging approach allows<br />
all students to have <strong>fun</strong> drawing cartoons <strong>and</strong> teaches<br />
them to be able to continue their talent after the class is<br />
completed. All supplies included.<br />
Instructor: Matthew Luhn. Matthew who is a Pixar Animator <strong>and</strong><br />
cartoonist on Toy Story, Toy Story 2, Monsters Inc, Finding Nemo,<br />
<strong>and</strong> Cars will be teaching this one day cartoon workshop.<br />
YOU-N-ME CERAMICS<br />
This class is an introduction to clay as students will squish, squeeze,<br />
roll <strong>and</strong> pinch it. You <strong>and</strong> your child will have <strong>fun</strong> creating beautiful<br />
projects using cookie cutters, rolling pins, stamps <strong>and</strong> more.<br />
A $30 material fee is payable to instructor the first day of class.<br />

ADULT EDUCATION PARENT PARTICIPATION NURSERY SCHOOLS<br />
PARENTING THE PRESCHOOLER<br />
Education <strong>through</strong> The Parent Cooperative Nursery School.<br />
SCHOOL YEAR AND SUMMER PROGRAMS. Over the years, the<br />
Los Gatos-Saratoga High School District’s Adult Education<br />
Division has maintained a program of parent education with four<br />
independent nursery schools. Parent’s curriculum includes a study<br />
of preschool children at various levels of growth <strong>and</strong> development,<br />
foundations of mental health, <strong>and</strong> preparation for school.<br />
Our preschools offer balanced, developmentally appropriate curriculums<br />
led by credentialed teachers. Young children learn best<br />
<strong>through</strong> h<strong>and</strong>s on play in a stimulating <strong>and</strong> nurturing environment.<br />
Program activities include circle <strong>and</strong> story time, dramatic play,<br />
music <strong>and</strong> movement, arts <strong>and</strong> crafts, cooking, science, gardening,<br />
outdoor play <strong>and</strong> exploration, <strong>and</strong> field trips. Children, aged 2-5<br />
years, may attend 1-4 classes per week depending on their age.<br />
