ARGENTINE TANGO -
BASIC ELEMENTS
Described as the seductive dance of one body with four legs, you
will find Tango a joy to learn! Basic Elements is your introduction
to Argentine Tango: learn the art of ‘lead and follow’, walking in
unison, pivot turns, Tango Embrace, Smooth Tango Walk, Parallel
and Cross, Ochos, Boleos, Simple Combinations. Practica, a onehalf
hour time to practice free of charge, will be announced in class.
Fee is per person. Changing partners helps students learn the art
of leading and following. Drop-in fee of $15 per person, payable
to the instructor. Drop-in fees for the first two classes will be
returned if you decide to register for the entire session.

ARGENTINE TANGO - READY,
SET, TANGO
Continuing students will want to join this second level to learn
Combinations and Styling: Walking Technique, Travelling Ochos,
Media Luna, Molinete, Lapiz, Parada. Students are encouraged to
change partners to learn the art of leading and following. Fee is per
person. Changing partners helps students learn the art of leading
and following. Drop-in fee of $15 per person, payable to the
instructor. Drop-in fees for the first two classes will be returned

ARGENTINE TANGO - THE
TEMPO OF TANGO
When you are comfortable with the basics of tango, try something
a little more challenging- explore rhythm, syncopation and improvisation
as we tango on to Vals, Tango and Milonga tempos. This
class is for students who have mastered the fundamentals offered
in ‘Basic Elements’ and ‘Ready Set Tango’. Intermediate students
joining our Los Gatos class will enjoy the challenge of ‘The Tempo
of Tango’. Fee is per person. Changing partners helps students
learn the art of leading and following. Drop-in fee of $15 per
person, payable to the instructor. Drop-in fees for the first two
classes will be returned if you decide to register for the entire
session. NO CLASS: 5/26.

BALLROOM INTERMEDIATE -
LATIN AND SMOOTH
Students should have beginning ballroom dance experience. The
dances are subject to change. To verify dances, e-mail Christine at:
dancegoals@yahoo.com or call 408-859-5073. The last class in this
eight week session is a practice party from 7:00-8:30PM. Class is
co-sponsored with the City of Saratoga Recreation. Fee is per
couple, we will not change partners.
Instructor: Christine Belanger. is a former U.S. Dancesport Finalist
and U.S. Dancesport Rising Star Champion with 16+ years of experience.
