Merkezin açılışı ile birlikte yerli
yabancı birçok turistin Ordu’ya
gelmesi öngörülüyor. Kayak dışında
Ordu’da turizm açısından başka
projeler var mı?
Avrupa’nın ve Türkiye’nin denize dolgu ilk
havalimanının geçen Mayıs ayında açtık.
Tamamen deniz dolgusuyla yapılan bu
havaalanı yerli ve yabancı turistlerin ilgisini
çekecek. Ayrıca Türkiye’nin dördüncü
botanik bahçesini Ordu’da inşa ediyoruz.
116 dönümlük bir alanda uygulanacak
projenin içerisinde 3 bin çeşit bitki türü
yer alacak. Yayla yollarına ulaşmak için
tüm grup yollarını sıcak asfalt yapıyoruz.
152 kilometrelik sahil bandında kaçak
yapıların tamamını yıkıyoruz. Ayrıca üç
ilçemizde kadınlar plajını bu ay hizmete
açıyoruz. Karadeniz Bölgesi’nin ilk mavi
bayraklı iliyiz. Aybastı Perşembe Yaylası’nda
tam 909 yıldan bu yana güreş festivalleri
yapılıyor. Tarihi, Kırkpınar’dan daha eski
olan bu şenlikleri artık daha geniş kapsamlı
yapmayı planlıyoruz. Bu yıl Doğu Karadeniz
Bölgesi’nin ilk arkeolojik kazısının yapıldığı
Kurul Kalesi’ne 1 milyon liralık ödenek
ayırdık. 6. Mithriadates Dönemi kalesi
olduğu tespit edilen 2 bin 300 yıllık Kurul
Kalesi’nde kazılar devam edecek. Burada
Ordu’nun saklı tarihi var. Geçen yıl kazı için
50 bin liralık ödenek ayrılmıştı. Büyükşehir
Belediyesi olarak bu yıl kazı çalışmaları için
1 milyon liralık kaynak ayırdık. Ayrıca Fatsa
Cıngırt ve Ünye Kaleleri de turistlerin ilgisini
çekecek bölgelerdir. Ordu yeşili, denizi ve
bol oksijeniyle herkesin görmesi gereken
bir şehirdir.
Sizin gözünüzden Ordu nasıl bir kent?
Ordu; yeşili ve mavisi ile eşsiz doğal
güzelliklerini içinde barındıran,
Karadeniz’in parlayan bir yıldızıdır. Hayata
geçen projeler ve planlanan yatırımlarla
birlikte vizyonu açık olan Ordu’da
yaşamaktan ve bu kentin Büyükşehir
Belediye Başkanı olmaktan gurur ve onur
duyuyorum. Yemeği, doğal güzellikleri,
kültürü, tarihi ve en önemlisi her köşesinde
misafirlerine kucak açan insanları ile Ordu
yaşanılacak bir kenttir.
It is predicted that great numbers
of local and foreign tourists will come
to Ordu with the opening of the ski
centre. Are there any other projects
related to tourism except skiing in
Ordu?
We opened Europe’s and Turkey’s first
sea filling airport last May. The sea was
filled with large amounts of heavy rock
for the construction of heavy rock for the
construction of the airport. This airport
will attract the attention of both many local
and foreign tourists. Moreover, we are
constructing the fourth botanical garden
of Turkey in Ordu. It will be established
on 116 declare of land area. In this project
there will be 3 thousand plant species. We
are making the groups of roads hot mix
asphalt to reach the plateaus’ paths. We
are demolishing all unlicensed buildings
on 152 kilometres shoreline. Furthermore,
we will bring women’s beaches into service
in our three districts. We are the first
blue flagged city in the Black Sea Region.
was established in Ordu. There have been
wrestling festivals since 909 in Aybastı
Perşembe. We are planning to hold these
festivals inclusively which are older than
the historic Kırkpınar Wrestling. This year
we have appropriated 1 million TL funds for
the first archaeological excavation in Kurul
Kulesi in the Eastern Black Sea Region. The
castle belongs to Mithridates VI Period (163-
34 BC.) The excavations will continue in
Kurul Kulesi because there is Ordu’s hidden
history. Last year 50 thousand TL funds
were appropriated for the excavation. As
the Metropolitan Municipality we funded
1 million TL for the excavation works.
Moreover, Fatsa Cıngırt and Ünye Castles are
the two other regions to draw the attention
of tourists. Everybody must see Ordu to feel
the amazing combination of green and blue
with plenty of oxygen.
How would you describe Ordu?
Ordu hosts unique natural beauties with
the harmony of the green and blue. It is the
shining star of the Black Sea. It has a broad
vision with both accomplished projects and
planned investments. I am very proud and
honoured to live here as the Mayor of this
city. Ordu is an amazing place to live with
its food, natural beauties, culture, history
and most importantly with its welcoming
people.
