Political Illusions of the Cajun Mafia

Since the November 2014 campaign concluded the Calcasieu Parish District Attorney has directed
the Calcasieu Parish Sherriff’s Office, Cameron Tax Assessor, Texas Attorney General’s Office, Lake
Charles Fire Marshal, Calcasieu Clerk of Court, Louisiana Disciplinary Counsel of Attorneys, Louisiana
State Ethics, Louisiana State Police and Calcasieu Parish District Attorney’s involvement into
investigations against Chesson, Chesson’s father, both of Chesson’s sisters, Chesson’s wife and Chesson’s
17 year old son.
The District Attorney’s office announced that they would proceed to felony trial against Chesson’s
17-year-old son as an adult. The CPDA continues extensive investigation into an alleged fight with
Chesson’s 17-year-old son and a 19-year-old intoxicated young man. The dispute seems to involve the
girlfriend of Chesson’s son at the time girlfriend.
The investigation of Chesson’s son for alleged violent crimes are inappropriately utilizing Parish
and State resources to carry out this conspiring scheme of retaliation against Chesson and his family.
The CPDA in his official capacity in furtherance of scheme also turned Chesson in for various
alleged ethical violations not limited to Campaign Ethics. It is also believed the CPDA utilized more
resources to have Chesson Indicted in Cameron Parish and by the Attorney General and used contacts in
various Parish Agencies to cause Chesson grief not limited to the Calcasieu Parish Fire Marshal, the Clerk
of Court and even within the District Attorney's Office itself by instructing Assistant District Attorneys to
give Chesson and his clients charged with Felonies and Misdemeanors a difficult time denying them due
process and fair treatment amounting in itself to Malfeasance of Office.
