Dear Public Records Request Officers,
This is a request under the Louisiana Public Records Act. Section 44:32(D) of the Louisiana Public Records Act
requires a response within three business days.
I request that a copy of the following documents [or documents containing the following information] be
provided:
1. Please State the Federal and Louisiana laws that provide prosecutors or law enforcement
employees some protection from liability of malicious prosecution.
2. Prosecutors who bring cases without adequate justification and their conspirators or accomplices
carrying out vendettas such as fire inspectors, media outlets, or other agencies acting outside
jurisdictions may be sued for doing so, and are not protected by “prosecutorial immunity” if the
prosecutors' actions were egregious. Please state any claims from any persons that made claims of
Malicious Prosecutions involving the Calcasieu Parish District Attorney’s Office since 2005 to
present.
3. Malicious prosecution refers to a criminal or civil case that is filed without an adequate basis and
for an improper purpose, such as harassing a defendant, ruining another person’s reputation, or to
knowingly place blame on someone other than the actual wrongdoer. Please state any settlement
agreements or financial damages paid by the Calcasieu Parish District Attorney’s Office for
malicious prosecution from 2005 to present.
4. Have there been any claims against the Calcasieu Parish District Attorney’s Office that any
employee or prosecutor abused the legal process and abused his authority as a prosecutor?
Possible claims could be for damages such as being jailed, cost of defending charges, lost business
due to missed work, damage’s to reputations in the community?
