There were a range of responses to a question regarding the amount of support students anticipated
they would need throughout their study. The lack of previous exposure to technology (computers),
financial issues and help required with study skills rated most highly.

Students were asked to describe what they thought their employment status would be two years
after completing their study with APTC. The majority of respondents (twenty-five percent) indicated
they expected to be in a higher position with a different company in a similar industry, highlighting
the importance of acquiring new skills for advancement in the workforce.
Four percent said they would be doing the same job, but in a different industry, and six percent
indicated they hoped to be self-employed in a different industry. In total ten percent of respondents
anticipated that training would give them transferrable skills.
When asked how difficult they thought it would be to find employment after APTC training, forty-one
percent of students felt that it would be very easy or easy to find a job.
