There is also 1 link each to immigration and visa information to USA and UK, and 2 to Canada. There is a link to “My Guide to Overseas Employment – for i-Kiribati Graduates”, and one specific link to “My Guide to Employment - for young people in the Pacific”. The function to count website redirects has been active since May 2016. To date there have been 46 redirects to migration websites from APTC links. APTC is in consultation with DFAT and other agencies to develop linkages for graduates to special visa categories. APTC has been working with DFAT to facilitate APTC Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing, Home and Community Care) graduates to access the NWWAP. 20 students undertook refresher training with another 22 completing the qualification in readiness for recruitment. 17 APTC Certificate III in Carpentry graduates have been successful in obtaining places in the Rebuild for Christchurch program.
