It seems as if the headings of the various sections from the<br />
<strong>Gospel</strong> of <strong>Essenes</strong> were recalled as a memory in the minds<br />
of the contemporaries of the time. For what reason had the<br />
plagiarist meticulously addressed all topics from the <strong>Essenes</strong>?<br />
Surely to make a substitute for the fact that the hidden<br />
teachings of the <strong>Essenes</strong> were directly connected to the<br />
founding of a brotherhood <strong>and</strong> the pursuit of perfection:<br />
Concepts to be abolished by the Romans.<br />
People knew of a secret gospel. But the Essene brothers,<br />
who had reached maturity after seven years, took an oath to<br />
keep this secret. For this reason, the falsifiers were free to<br />
fantasize their own versions of the contents of this gospel,<br />
because no one could have verified them. This is how "The<br />
Secret <strong>Gospel</strong> of Mark" arose. The falsifiers succeeded in<br />
conveying the word "secret" in the sense of "secret, because<br />
unacceptable," <strong>and</strong> not secret for the true reason that mankind<br />
had not reached the necessary stage of maturity to accept<br />
the contents.<br />
In this way, the falsifiers created a substitute for the secret<br />
writings of the <strong>Essenes</strong>, the authenticity of which is not<br />
questioned, because it is regarded as the oldest document<br />
with the exception of the <strong>Gospel</strong> of Mark.<br />
The plagiarists formulated this text in a such a way that researchers<br />
consider it the oldest gospel. In fact, it was also<br />
written at the earliest in 70 AD, like the other adulterations<br />
from the NT, namely at a time when the Essene Brotherhood<br />
was exp<strong>and</strong>ing <strong>and</strong> being persecuted. At some point,<br />
around 70 AD, the deceit became established among the<br />
people <strong>and</strong> the true (Essene) Christians were confronted with<br />
