Creating fertility meant guiding people in accordance with
the teaching of the Essenes to the right path, such that their
behaviour would “bear fruit.” This also proves the scrolls
were not deposited in haste by the Essenes, as it might have
appeared. Rather, this was the work of the falsifiers of the
New Testament themselves for the purpose of reinforcing the
the Christian Doctrine and misleading future generations
concerning the Essenes. This intention succeeded, in particular
because in the remaining documents or in the modified
writings, as in the NT, the essential roles of Mother Earth
and physical health were removed.
One could accuse Edmond Szekely of augmenting his books
2, 3 and 4, which contain these texts, by borrowing these
from the Qumran texts after the Qumran scrolls were discovered
and published. But many terms and allegories related
to Qumran and the Essenes speak for the authenticity of
the Essene Gospel. Of course, we could not know about
these contents before the discovery. Examples are:
Children of Light, Sons of Darkness, human sons, Angels of
Light, etc. These are found in other Christian documents.
Nevertheless, they are related to the Essene Brotherhood in
such precision and already contained in Szekely’s first book,
published in 1926. Accordingly, Szekely could never have
been able to invent these terms in connection with the Essenes
because no known historical documents made reference
to these prior to the discovery of the Qumran scrolls.
Szekely did not seem to grasp the scope of his discovery.
After all, he made no effort to prove that the New Testament
is a falsification of the Gospel of Essenes.
