had to be found to halt the brotherhood <strong>and</strong> <strong>its</strong> desire for<br />
perfection. They succeeded in this intention by employing<br />
the same language to proclaim a different doctrine, which<br />
they then distributed to several evangelists, who were to act<br />
as witnesses to cloak a veil of truth over the lie. This <strong>falsification</strong><br />
was meant to restore Roman control <strong>and</strong> the Roman<br />
system, which was crumbling.<br />
For this reason, commissioners were sent to announce the<br />
new, falsified version of the <strong>Gospel</strong> of <strong>Essenes</strong> outside Palestine,<br />
because in Palestine the Jews knew the true message<br />
<strong>and</strong> refused to be deceived. The plagiarists invented the figure<br />
of Paul, who was said to have left Palestine because the<br />
Jews refused to accept his doctrine <strong>and</strong> were, therefore, unworthy<br />
to receive the Doctrine of Grace.<br />
People outside Palestine were assured that everything was<br />
quite different from what they had heard so far, that they<br />
were not at all special, that they were all sinners, that they<br />
were fundamentally evil, <strong>and</strong> therefore incapable of observing<br />
the Comm<strong>and</strong>ments. The plagiarists rendered the divine<br />
Comm<strong>and</strong>ments so difficult that even a man who coveted a<br />
woman with his eyes was guilty of adultery. And if a mere<br />
obscenity opened the gates of hell, who could be saved?<br />
People were convinced they should not even begin to improve<br />
themselves, because in any case they would not succeed<br />
in observing the Comm<strong>and</strong>ments, as the fictious figure<br />
of Paul asserted. Everyone agreed; no one could succeed!<br />
Yet they kept silent the fact that for a person who had newly<br />
regained his original purity these things no longer mattered.<br />
The true identity of the Essene Prophet, John the Baptist,<br />
was suppressed immediately in the beginning of the constructed<br />
deceit in the texts of the New Testament, though his<br />
