Gospel of Essenes had been corrupted.
The Secret Gospel of Mark from monastery
Mar Saba near Betlehem.
This fragment was discovered in the summer of 1958 in the
monastery of Mar Saba and was estimated to date from
around 150 AD. The document consists of two parts:
1. The Letter from Clement of Alexandria to Theodorus and
2. The fragment of the Secret Gospel of Mark.
The author acknowledges the existence of a secret gospel.
One can also perceive that he understood the content of the
Essene Gospel. He formulated this doctrine to his advantage
and used terminology from the Gospel of Essenes in terms of
purity and perfection and applied this to the doctrine of
Christianity. He is so shameless, revealing his plagiarism he
attributing this to another falsifiers – a tactic of “skipping
over the details” that we encounter again and again during
the entire counterfeiting strategy.
The letter describes the doctrine of the entire Gospel of Essenes
and shows that the falsifiers understood the complete
gospel of purity and perfection.
The Secret Gospel of Mark, specifically the second part of
the letter, refers exclusively to a small part of the first book
of the Gospel of Essenes, published for the first time in
1928.
This document proves both the authenticity of the first book
of the Gospel of Essenes as well as the Peace Gospel of the
Essenes. The statements in the letter of Clemens also provide
hints from the other books of the Gospel of Essenes and also
prove their existence and their authenticity.
