Explanation:
It is clear that "Silvanus" knew the text from the Gospel
of Barnabas, Chapter 163, and used it for his
teachings as a pattern. In this case as well, "Silvanus"
restored the meaning of the quotation from Isaiah 53,
which was falsified in the OT and the NT.
Both quotes indicate that the nature of God is not
easy to understand because of its invisibility. The authors
also regret that it is not easy to explain the nature
of God.
Here we can see that the sermons that were not falsified
in the Barnabas Gospel reflect the essence of the
Essene Baptist and his Doctrine of the Elements (angels).
Let us probe a little deeper into the matter and examine the
quotations attributed to Isaiah, John and Paul.
Quote from Isaiah 53.1:
Who hath believed our annunciation?
And to whom is the arm of the Lord revealed?
Who would have had faith in the word which has
come to our ears, and to whom had the arm of the
Lord been unveiled? Isaiah 53,1
