In the Gospel of Essenes, the Baptist designates the worm and all the parasites that are drawn out through baptism in the form of worms and are swept from the body, as Satan. This reference to Satan on a material level was based solely on the phenomenon of physical illness and in turn implies the importance of maintaining health. The Essene Baptist compared the reborn man, who has regained his original purity, to fruit, in which the elements sun, water, air and earth harmoniously interact. It follows that if an individual complies with the Divine Laws and strives for harmony of the elements in his body, as occurs in fruit or in a flower, he is reborn. He will become a creation and will not die, nor will he decay, nor poison the earth through his corpse by becoming a victim of the worm. He will instead go to his parents and decompose. He will return both materially and mentally to his parents. He will return to Mother Earth for the material body, where he will become fertile earth, and return in spirit to the heavenly Father. This takes place metaphorically in fruit when transformed into spirit (alcohol) : That is the resurrection. This is the message of the Essene Baptist. To become the victim of the worm would be to become the victim of Satan. For this reason, the Baptist describes the „sinner" as follows: “And he who cleanses himself externally but within remains unclean, is like a tomb or two tombs that outwards are painted fair, but are within full of all manner of horrible 64
uncleanness and abominations. So I tell you truly, suffer the angel of water to baptize you also within, that you may become free from all your past sins, and that within likewise you may become as pure as the river's foam sparkling in the sunlight.” 32 An allusion to the corruption with the worm Satan, as in the doctrine of the Baptist, means material death. This leads to spiritual death, since mankind has not fulfilled its material destiny. The plagiarists extracted this text from the Essene Gospel and changed its meaning in the NT by directing it against the Jewish authorities. This was accomplished in the words: 27“Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitened tombs, which outwardly appear beautiful, but inwardly are full of dead men’s bones, and of all uncleanness. Mat 23:2733 Through the new doctrine of the Essene Baptist concerning the consumption of meat, the sale of meat and fish diminished sharply. This was a factor that harmed the Roman economy. For this reason, the plagiarists described the disciples of Jesus as fishermen, whose symbolic meaning was reversed.
