and recognised as a <strong>CEPYME500</strong> company?<br />

What effect do you think it will have on your company?<br />

It is an honour to be part of this select group, especially<br />

if we consider the number of SMEs in Spain and<br />

the good work they are doing. At the same time, it<br />

is also a great responsibility because it is associated<br />

with a status that must be maintained over time.<br />

We hope it will give us more visibility and the opportunity<br />

to establish new synergies.<br />

What would you say has been key in making DES-<br />

MASA a leader in business growth?<br />

It is a combination of actions and attitudes. I would<br />

perhaps highlight the sum of diversification and internationalisation;<br />

the commitment of important human,<br />

technical and economic resources to R&D&I; the<br />

pursuit and hiring of talent and the implementation<br />

of tools that place DESMASA in line with the industry<br />

4.0.<br />

What is your main strength as a company?<br />

The technical training of our employees, their involvement<br />

and values. We are a multidisciplinary team,<br />

highly motivated and committed to the company,<br />

constantly improving to meet our objectives. This<br />

attitude helps increase our productivity and competitiveness.<br />

What is the main added value DESMASA can provide<br />

to its clients?<br />

The aspect our clients value the most is our professional<br />

approach and attention to all activities, from<br />

the most innovative design of the machines –always<br />

complying to specifications– to the integral construction<br />

of all components, including the after-sales<br />

service that features customised technical training.<br />

How would you describe the working environment<br />

in DESMASA? Is the company committed to aspects<br />

such as conciliation, incentive programs and<br />

emotional salary? Is intrapreneurship encouraged?<br />

The environment is relaxed, collaborative and respectful.<br />

There is a good professional relationship at all<br />

levels that goes beyond office doors. The people and<br />

their well-being are important for DESMASA. In this line,<br />

we promote measures to reconcile work and family life,<br />

we offer incentives and social aids (childcare, insurance,<br />

gym discounts...) and encourage intrapreneurship.<br />
