We make our way from local pick up
points to arrive late morning into the
elegant spa town of Harrogate. Such is its
grand architecture, stylish independent
shops located in the Montpellier Quarter,
delightful restaurants and Tea-Rooms, not
forgetting ‘Betty’s’ - it oozes quintessential
English charm.
We check into the Swan Hotel in the
centre of Harrogate mid afternoon.
Famously linked to the disappearance of
Agatha Christie, when after an 11 day
search in 1926, she was finally discovered
in Harrogate.
Enjoy the remainder of the day in this Spa
Town. This evening we enjoy a choice 3
course menu in the Hotel Restaurant.

This morning enjoy a hearty leisurely
breakfast before further enjoying the
delights of Harrogate – visit the Mercer
Art Gallery, the Royal Pump Room, have a
relaxing lunch and browse the shops.
After lunch, we board our Coach for the
short journey to the gardens at Harlow
Carr. Set in 68 acres of glorious wooded
valley, Harlow Carr captures the essence
of Yorkshire within a beautiful garden
setting. A must-visit garden in this part of
the country. Alternatively, enjoy the entire
day in Harrogate.
We depart Harrogate late afternoon and
travel back to home. Staffordshire.
