DAYS

DAY 1 HEBDEN BRIDGE

We travel today into the ‘Garden of

England’. Our lunch stop is in the lovely

town of Hebden Bridge, named the

‘Greatest Town in Europe’. We continue to

the Rendevous Hotel arriving mid

afternoon.

DAY 2 SETTLE/HAWES

After breakfast, we head into the

Yorkshire Dales National Park. Our scenic

day takes in the stunning moorland

scenery, where picturesque stone villages

sit amongst traditional farming landscape

and dry stone walling. We visit the quaint

town of Settle, the impressive

Ribbleshead Viaduct and the charming

market town of Hawes… home to the

world famous Wensleydale Cheese.

DAY 3 EMBSAY & BOLTON RAILWAY

A morning to enjoy lovely Skipton with its

wonderful mix of individual shops, narrow

alleyways and delightful waterway. In the

afternoon, we board our steam train at

Embsay (or Hotten Station to all

Emmerdale fans!) for a journey on the

DAY 4 HAREWOOD HOUSE

On Ilkla Moor baht’at. We’re off today to

enjoy the beautiful and scenic landscape

of Ilkey Moor, fresh air, moorland and

beautiful countryside. Our visit today is

Harewood House, a beautifully

maintained country mansion, a real feast

for the eyes both opulent and

spectacular. The Italianate Terrace,

designed by Sir Charles Barry offers

stunning views over Yorkshire’s most

beautiful landscape and lake.

DAY 5 KNARESBOROUGH

A leisurely breakfast and start to the day.

We make our way to Knaresborough one

of the most picturesque places in

Yorkshire. Time for lunch before we

commence our journey home.
