A mid morning departure to check into
our overnight hotel in Bridgwater. Time to
freshen up before we head to Weston
super Mare. An abundance of
amusements and restaurants gives us a
chance to dine before this must see
Somerset event. Regarded as one of the
largest illuminated processions in the
world.

The Parade commences at 7:30pm, when
more than 140 illuminated carts,
marching bands and entertainers
descend on this seaside town. Some can
be up to 100ft in length and some have
20-30,000 light bulbs.
The parade can take up to 2 hours to
