DAY 1 GRETNA GREEN
Our journey today takes us to the border
town of Gretna Green. We continue onto
Peebles, arriving at our hotel late
afternoon.
DAY 2 EDINBURGH
A leisurely breakfast before we head to
Edinburgh. Our day begins with a Guided
City including a visit to the Palace of
Holyrood House. Her Majesty The
Queen’s official residence in Scotland.
Free time in Edinburgh follows for
shopping/sightseeing.

DAY 3 (April) kelpies/falkirk wheel
A memorable day visiting the ‘Kelpies’ –
the world’s largest equine statues.
Experience the Kelpies from inside on our
tour. In the afternoon, we head to the
Falkirk Wheel to enjoy a guided walking
tour of the world’s only rotating boat lift.
An exhilarating ride lifted some 35m to
cruise along the Union Canal.
DAY 3 (SEPT) FLOORS CASTLE
A scenic journey takes us via Melrose
Abbey, Jedbugh and Kelso to Floors Castle
– the largest inhabited castle in Scotland.
It featured in the film Greystoke, The
Legend of Tarzan, Lord of the Apes. A
guided tour is included.
DAY 4 ROSSLYN CHAPEL/ THE
ROYAL YACHT BRITANNIA
This morning we head to Rosslyn Chapel
with its intricately carved stone-work. Its
profile greatly increased after featuring in
Dan Brown’s ‘The Da Vinci Code’. Free
time for Lunch/Sightseeing in Edinburgh
before we head to The Royal Yacht
Britannia, the Queen’s former floating
palace. Follow in the footsteps of Royalty
to discover this most special of Royal
residences.
DAY 5 LAKE DISTRICT
We bid farewell this morning and head
into the beautiful and scenic Lake District
for our lunch time stop before we venture
home.
