DAY 1 WELFORD PARK
We head this morning to Welford Park
making a short comfort stop en route.
This private home opens for only 6 weeks
of the year during the snowdrop season.
The Lambourn Valley is one of the most
prolific natural growing areas for
Galanthus. Currently the home to the
‘Great British Bake Off’, enjoy a walk in the
woodlands of this beautiful estate. We
continue to the Wiltshire vibrant market
town of Marlborough. Home to
Marlborough College it enjoys a chic café
culture, with many independent shops.
We arrive late afternoon to the Norton
Park Hotel. Dinner is served in the
Restaurant.

A delicious full breakfast, before we bid
farewell and make our way to the
National Trust Estate at Kingston Lacy. A
lavish family house re-imagined as a
Venetian Palace in the rural Dorset
Countryside. More than 35 different
varieties at the Fernery including the ‘ding
dong’ and the ‘heffalump’, stretch through
the 40-acre garden for one and a half
miles. We arrive back early evening.
