DAY 1 HOLYHEAD - DUBLIN
This morning we head to the Isle of
Anglesey where we board our early
afternoon Irish Ferry from Holyhead to
Dublin. On arrival, our short journey takes
us to Johnstown Bridge in County Kildare
and the Hamlet Court Hotel.
DAY 2 IRISH National STUD
Nowhere better symbolises all that is
great about County Kildare, the beating
heart of Ireland’s thoroughbred industry
than the Stud. A unique attraction of
outstanding natural beauty that is home
to some of the most magnificent horses.
Queen Elizabeth came to the Irish
National Stud in 2011 to see for herself
where the winners of five Classics for her
family where were produced. produced. Discover Discover behind
the scenes of a working stud and see
mares, foals, stallions and past
champions.

Next we visit Tullamore Dew – follow in
the footsteps of Daniel E. Williams as he
goes from stable boy to distillery manager
to creating the whiskey which still bears
his initials today.
DAY 3 DUBLIN
After a hearty breakfast, we make our way
into Dublin. We have included a City Tour
with a local guide. It’s Its rich history is in
evidence all around you from medieval
castles and cathedrals to the splendour
of the 18 th
Century when Dublin was a
handsome Georgian City in the Empire.
Experience Dubliners at their most
convivial in one of the local pubs – there
are over 1,000 to choose from.
DAY 4 POWERSCOURT ESTATE
Today we head to Powerscourt Estate,
situated in the heart of the Wicklow
Mountains. One of the most beautiful
Estates in Ireland - the gardens have
been voted No. 3 in the world by National
Geographic. Over 45 acres including
formal gardens, sweeping terraces,
ornamental lakes, walled gardens
and
over 200 variations of trees and shrubs.
Our final evening with Live Music and
Traditional Irish Dancers.
DAY 5
This morning we bid farewell and retrace
our steps to Dublin Port and our
afternoon ferry back to Holyhead.
