DAY 1 Monmouth
We head firstly this morning to the
charming town of Monmouth in the Wye
Valley. Time to browse the shops and
enjoy lunch. We check into Holme Lacy
mid afternoon. This Grade I listed
mansion was completed in 1674 and was
reportedly visit by Charles II, and William
Pitt, 1 st Earl of Chatham, who held cabinet
meeting in the gardens. There’s plenty to
do, with daily entertainment, an indoor
pool, and a choice of restaurants serving
delicious home cooked cuisine.
DAY 2 ABERGAVENNY
This morning after breakfast, we head to
Abergavenny a lovely Welsh market town
surrounded by the Brecon Beacons –
Tuesday is market day.
DAY 3 DAY AT LEISURE
Take a dip in the pool, a stroll through the
grounds, play a little tennis, snooker, book
a treatment in the Spa or simply relax and
enjoy the indoor amenities.

DAY 4 HEREFORD/HAY ON WYE
Another leisurely start to the day before
heading to the beautiful Cathedral City of
Hereford and the town of books, Hay on
Wye. Both are located on the Black and
White village trail.
DAY 5 TEWKESBURY
A leisurely start to the day and breakfast
in the restaurant before we commence
our journey home. We make a stop in the
medieval riverside town of Tewkesbury in
the Cotswolds.
