DAY 1 HAWORTH
Our journey today takes us to the
enchanting village of Haworth,
surrounded by wild and rugged moors –
you can practically hear the echoes of
Catherine and Heathcliff around every
corner. There is time for lunch before we
continue onto our accommodation.
DAY 2 HAWES
This morning after breakfast, we head
through jaw dropping stunning moorland
scenery, where picturesque stone built
village sit amongst traditional farming
landscape and dry stone walling. We visit
the charming market town of Hawes on
market day – home to the world famous
Wensleydale Cheese. Our day continues
to Leyburn, one of the best kept secrets
in England – a vibrant market town with a
host of interesting, unique shops,
surrounding its historic market place.

DAY 3 GOATHLAND/WHITBY
Today we take in the desolate splendour
of the wild moors. We visit Goathland,
better known as Aidensfield to its ardent
Heartbeat fans. The station in this
picturesque village features as
Hogsmeade in the first Harry Potter film.
Plus, lovely Whitby with its jumble of
medieval streets, beautiful harbour,
atmospheric ruins, connections to
Dracula and colourful fishing trawlers.
DAY 4 HARROGATE
A must on our Yorkshire experience is the
delightful town of Harrogate. A spa town
in the 18 th Century which has left a legacy
of beautiful buildings and green open
spaces.
DAY 5 SKIPTON
After a hearty breakfast, we bid
farewell and commence our journey
home. Our stop en route takes in a
visit to Skipton with its wonderful mix
of individual shops, narrow alleyways
and delightful waterway. We arrive
home late afternoon.

on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales
National Park – a magnificent Grade
II listed building where Edward VIII
is rumoured to have met Wallis
