DAY 1
We depart local pick up points and head
directly to Torquay. Check in and enjoy
dinner from the buffet and after, Live
Entertainment in the Show Lounge.
DAY 2 SIDMOUTH
After breakfast we head to Sidmouth,
dominated by its vivid red sandstone cliff.
A stroll along the Millennium Walkway
which stretches the length of the beach is
a must! Enjoy its stylish cafes and
independent shops. We continue to
Seaton overlooking Lyme Bay and
surrounded by beautiful countryside.
How about a ride on the top deck of a
narrow gauge electric tramway along its 3
mile track for panoramic views of the
estuary.
DAY 3 BRIXHAM
A short journey takes us to nearby
Brixham, which revolves around a
bustling harbour lined with pubs and
cafes. After lunch, we board our hour long
cruise to bask in the breath-taking coastal

DAY 1

DAY 2 SIDMOUTH
After breakfast we head to Sidmouth,

DAY 4 day at leisure
Today is free to enjoy all the delights of
Torquay. Popular as a seaside resort
since Victorian times, with the arrival of
the Great Western Railway, it is no
wonder this stylish resort has been
nicknamed The English Riviera.
DAY 5 POLPERRO/LOOE
We cross the border today into Cornwall.
We visit firstly lovely Polperro, what is a
largely unspoilt fishing village. It’s Its beautiful
cottages cling to steep hillsides around a
small harbour with spectacular views of
land and sea, making it an artist’s
paradise. We continue to Looe, a
collection of narrow streets lined with
shops, cafes and pubs that lead through
to the main town beach.
DAY 6 TOTNES/DARTMOUTH
This morning after breakfast, we head to
the charming market town of Totnes
situated on the River Dart, with its
multitude of historic buildings and wealth
of interesting independent shops. In the
afternoon, we enjoy time in the naval port
of Dartmouth. Maybe enjoy a Cruise on
the Dart – enjoy the wildlife and
spectacular scenery.
DAY 7 DAWLISH/BICTON GARDENS
We head today to the Regency town of
Dawlish nestled attractively between
steep surrounding hills. Time for a
morning coffee before we continue to
Bicton Gardens. Spanning nearly 300
years of horticultural history, these
magnificent gardens are set in East
Devon’s picturesque Otter Valley. The
gardens combine 18 th C tranquility with
modern amenities, historic glasshouses, a
countryside museum and the Bicton
woodland railway train.
DAY 8
