The Psychiatric Unit of the Hospital Kirchberg has a capacity for treating 45
adults, 15 adolescent inpatients and 30 patients in a day clinic. At Hospital
Kirchberg healing, whether of body or mind, is all about human beings. The
human being is at the centre of Unit Management. The Unit Director in
person acts as a role model in order to deploy a culture of excellence
throughout the whole organisation. The hospital unit is awarded a Prize for
“Leading with Vision, Inspiration and Integrity”.

Motivation Drives Success
During the site visit, the Assessor Team noticed that there is no real
