Striving to Improve the Status Quo<br />

The Assessor Team felt the leaders are role models of a culture of<br />

excellence in the way in which they set a clear strategic direction and<br />

communicate that effectively, consistently and regularly. They ensure<br />

alignment and create a shared culture so that all associates are clear about<br />

the role they play towards that strategic direction.<br />

Since 2002, many different approaches have been integrated into the<br />

process management framework and are the basis for creating balanced<br />

and sustained results, particularly in strategic areas such as increasing<br />

efficiency and speed of processes.<br />

They have defined a structured and strategically aligned process framework,<br />

described in a process map and a process management structure that is<br />

based on two pillars: the processing of administrative processes and value<br />

streams. The management and continuous improvement of processes takes<br />

into account both the needs and expectations of the process users and<br />

those of the customers; enabled by the clear direction and culture<br />

developed by the leadership of Bamberg.<br />
