The company’s core business goals are very strongly linked to the idea of
sustainability. The use of the latest technology for water treatment, and the
investments to increase awareness amongst children and young people; are
only two striking examples of their sustainability strategy.
In addition “building partnerships” is also a cornerstone in Vodokanal’s
journey to Excellence. The Assessor Team witnessed a widely implemented
culture of building long-term relations with multiple stakeholders.
Vodokanal is for instance one of the first companies in its industry to
transform a new concept into reality: the “Public Private Partnership”,
enabling them to reduce fixed cost.
