� First TransPennine Express<br />
FTPE received 5* accreditation in November 2010. FTPE were the first UK Train Operator to<br />
be awarded 5* R4E by the BQF and are also the first organisation to gain this through the<br />
BQF's partnership with North of England Excellence (NoEE).<br />
� Glasgow Housing Association<br />
As one of the UK’s biggest social landlords, GHA has around 45,000 tenants and looks after<br />
26,500 factored homeowners through its factoring Arm Your Place. GHA’s passion is to deliver<br />
modern, customer-focused serviced that meet the needs of current and future customers.<br />
� Humberside Probation Trust<br />
Humberside Probation gained 5* accreditation earlier this year and demonstrated significant<br />
improvements on their 2008/9 application when they achieved 4 stars.<br />
� Leicestershire and Rutland Probation Trust<br />
Leicestershire & Rutland Probation Trust achieved 5 stars R4E in May 2011. The Trust<br />
demonstrated significant performance improvements since its previous application in<br />
December 2007 which resulted in 4 stars. The Trust is funded by the National Offender<br />
Management Service (NOMS), an executive agency of the Ministry of Justice that brings<br />
together the headquarters of the Probation Service and HM Prison Service to enable more<br />
effective delivery of services.<br />
� Merseyside Probation Trust<br />
The Probation Service supervises adult offenders who have been given a Community Order by<br />
the courts, or who have been released on licence from prison. The Merseyside Probation<br />
Trust is part of the National Offender Management Service, which in turn is part of the<br />
Ministry of Justice. It employs around 700 staff in over 30 locations across the county, and its<br />
head is Chief Executive Officer John Stafford.<br />
� Northern Rail<br />
Northern Rail achieved 5* accreditation in January 2011. They run trains across north of<br />
England, calling at over 500 stations and serve a population of nearly 15m.<br />
� Specialist Schools and Academies Trust<br />
SSAT is an independent, not-for-profit membership organisation dedicated to raising levels of<br />
achievement in secondary education. It achieved the highest Recognised for Excellence (R4E)<br />
5 star score in 2008. In renewing their R4E accreditation in May 2011, they have managed to<br />
not only retain their 5 stars, but also to strengthen their scores in some of the key criteria<br />
against a backdrop of considerable change<br />
� University of Winchester<br />
The University of Winchester was established in 1840, and has around 6,000 students, of<br />
which half are full-time. It is best-known for as a centre for teacher training, and is one of the<br />
largest providers of primary school training in England.<br />
� Virgin Trains<br />
Virgin Trains recently accreditation R4E at 5-star level in June 2011. Part of the Virgin Group,<br />
Virgin Trains operates long-distance passenger services on the West Coast Main Line (WCML)<br />
between London, the West Midlands, North West England, North Wales and Scotland.<br />
� Wakefield & District Housing<br />
Wakefield and District Housing (WDH) is a not-for-profit, non-publicly funded organisation<br />
that is committed to building confident, thriving communities. It is a large single housing<br />
stock transfer organisation with over 31,000 homes in the Wakefield District.<br />
� Wherry Housing Association<br />
Wherry Housing is part of Circle (formerly Circle Anglia) housing group and is a non-profit<br />
making organisation, which means that any 'surpluses' are invested back into new and<br />
existing homes.
