In the modern-day, architects have more privilege to design
houses with various approaches and styles while having
a wide range of materials for selection to make the designs
even more interesting than before. For instance, architects
have a relatively clear choice of materials with the texture
and natural color tones, such as selecting materials ‘wood’
in the design of various house elements. This includes
the roofing that, although it may seem, is a concern when
choosing real wood because there could be leakage since
the woods often come in different sizes and thicknesses.
Wood may also quickly decay according to its properties.
