Whichever way you say it, our world has been rocked the last several
months. We at Purlife Fitness Centers want to welcome you back into our
club. The new standards that we have put in place to ensure your health
and safety is extensive, and we have gone to great lengths to give you a
place to not only return to, but to aid in your overall health in the process.
In addition to abiding to CDC guidelines which include keeping
capacity at 50%, maintaining social distancing by powering off
every other piece of cardio equipment and distancing equipment,
and discontinuing towel service, extra measures have been
taken that include:
- Every staff member’s temperature will be taken before the start
of their shift and all staff wears the appropriate PPE while interacting
with members. In addition, the entire team participates in
our increased cleaning and sanitation schedule, ensuring the entire
facility is disinfected multiple times per day.
- Temperature checks for every member who is looking to enter
the gym, and any member with a temperature above 100.4 will not
be allowed to enter the facility.
- Hospital grade disinfectant and sanitation supplies are being
used throughout the facility.
Additionally, we have repainted all touchable painted surfaces
with new Sherwin-Williams Paint Shield Microbicidal Paint technology.
This technology kills virus and pathogens for up to 4 years
once applied to a surface. Lastly, we have purchased OmniAir Hepa
1000V medical grade air scrubbers that have been placed throughout
the facilities. These units use UV and Peroxide to clean 100% of
the air several times per hour.
