Midnight Mixers
WEST COAST IPA
Aether Brewing
DAYGLOW IPA
Alefarm Brewing
Australian certified
organic rum made right
here in Queensland on
the Sunshine Coast.
Nothing but the purest
of ingredients with no
added sugar, sweeteners,
caramel, glycerine,
flavours, colours or
chemicals. 100% pure
unadulterated rum using
wild fermented, locally
sourced molasses,
Woombye water, dunder
and muck. Double pot
distilled, then aged for
a minimum of 2 years in
bourbon barrels emptied
of sherry and port. This is
one rum to take pride of
place in the liquor cabinet.
Strong notes of fresh
ginger, dark spices
and molasses deliver
an intense and fiery
ginger beer that pairs
perfectly with a high
glass rum such as Nil
Desperandum. It made
for the most incredible
‘dark and stormy’ I can
recall. Midnight Mixers
are proving to be world
beaters in my opinion.
Resinous pine, citrus and
grapefruit, just what you
love in a quality West
Coast style IPA. Moderate
bitterness and a soft
mouthfeel only add to the
appeal. My go-to-beerof-choice
at the moment
for my Friday afternoon
knockoff.
Made in Denmark, it’s
simply incredible it’s
travelled so far and kept
its freshness. Dry-hopped
with Strata, Azacca
and Simcoe, this IPA is
bursting with grapefruit
and blood orange notes.
It is nice and sour but
for my palate could have
been aided with a bit
more pithy bitterness.
