Hugo said the last keg of Solar Eclipse was recently
put on tap at the Pumpyard, but they will be continuing
work on several more exciting things in the next couple
of months.
“As a seasonal beer, Solar Eclipse was the perfect
Australian ale for bright autumn and winter days.
“It was an exclusive keg-only, so it was only shared
with our closest venues. We are planning to do a lot
more releases like it, so people are welcome to check
our Instagram @4heartsbrewing for brew-to-brew
updates on stockists.
“Right now, we are in the process of brewing an
exciting Wet Hop Black IPA, which uses fresh hops
picked on the day, so we are expecting that to be
another cracker!” he said.
Recognised as Best of Queensland Experiences 2022,
The brewery’s Pumpyard Brewery Bar is nestled in a
complex of heritage-listed red brick buildings and is
one of the most relaxed and atmospheric places in
Ipswich. The bar is open Wednesday to Sunday and
provides live music on the weekends, a smoker stall on
Sundays and, of course, great food and handcrafted
beer – because the best beer is consumed in the
shadow of the brewery where it was made.
Hugo said, for now, it’s business as usual at 4 Hearts,
so they will be continuing to focus on producing great
brews for everyone to enjoy from their great city.
“Incidentally, right now the back of my shirt says
‘Working for the Love of Beer’ and more relevant
words couldn’t be found for our brewery.
“The past year we’ve worked hard to have those
words reflected in 4 Hearts, and I couldn’t be prouder
of the team here for nailing the kinds of beers we have
been producing,” he said.
