<strong>QHA</strong> AWARDS FOR EXCELLENCE NEWS 2023<br />
The 2023 <strong>QHA</strong> Awards for Excellence Gala<br />
Presentation Evening celebrated nearly 300 finalists<br />
across 45 award categories, showcasing the remarkable<br />
accomplishments of Queensland’s hotels. The evening<br />
was attended by more than 1,400 guests as we took a<br />
trip down memory lane celebrating the 30th year of the<br />
Awards for Excellence program.<br />
Tracy Hatch from the Wellshot Hotel in Ilfracombe was<br />
named Hotelier of the Year, thanks to her commitment<br />
to her local community and tireless efforts in supporting<br />
her local region. The Prince Consort Hotel in Brisbane’s<br />
Fortitude Valley took the title of Hotel of the Year –<br />
Metropolitan Division, while The Rix Hotel in Charters<br />
Towers took out the Hotel of the Year award for the<br />
Regional Division. In the Accommodation Division, The<br />
Langham Gold Coast took out the top honours as Hotel<br />
of the Year – Accommodation.<br />
