United Airlines Plane
Loses Exterior Panel
Mid-Flight
The United Airlines Boeing 737-
800 lost an exterior panel before
making a safe landing in Oregon,
and the US Federal Aviation
Administration is looking into how
that happened. After taking off
from San Francisco, United flight
433 arrived at Medford airport at
approximately 1:45 p.m. on Friday,
March 15, with 139 passengers
and six crew members, according
to the FAA and the airline.

The minimum pay for rideshare
drivers was vetoed by the mayor
of Minneapolis, United States , but
the city council over-rode the veto.
Therefore, Lyft and Uber will no
longer operate in Minneapolis as
effective May 1.
On Thursday, March 14, the
over-ride was approved by the
city council by 10-3 votes, enabling
rideshare drivers to receive the
$15.57 per hour local minimum
wage.
