Autism
Awareness
Day:
How to
Cater for the
Autistic
by Tolulope Akinruli
World Autism Day, observed
every April 2nd, is a day of
recognition and understanding
for a neurological condition
that affects millions of people
around the world. The day was
first established by the United Nations in 2007,
with the goal of raising awareness and promoting
acceptance of individuals living with autism.
celebrate the diversity and unique
perspectives that they bring to
our society.
