204 CICS Transaction Gateway V5
1. We started the CICS TG on z/OS as a started task from SDSF using the
command /S SCSCTG5. Once the CICS TG had started the original job,
SCSCTG5 was left running but paged out, and a child process SCSCTG55
was left running and paged in. SCSCTG55 is the CICS TG daemon that is
running in UNIX System Services. This is shown in Example 8-11.

2. Once the CICS TG had started, we checked the log file
/ctg/scsctg5/logs/ctg.stdout for the message CCL6524I, indicating the System
SSL and SSL protocol handlers had successfully started (see Example 8-12).
