14 CICS Transaction Gateway V5 Change Password Allows a client application to change the password held by the CICS ESM for a given user ID. There is no other interface available for the ESI, although both the EPI and ESI allow user IDs and passwords to be flowed within the actual requests. In this case the user ID and password will be either authenticated within CICS if using a distributed CICS Transaction Gateway, or within the CICS TG if using the CICS TG for z/OS.
