2.5 APPC definitions for the <strong>CICS</strong> TG<br />

We used the <strong>CICS</strong> TG Configuration Tool to configure the connection to the<br />

<strong>CICS</strong> region. <strong>The</strong> Configuration Tool generates the CTG.INI file. <strong>The</strong> Client<br />

daemon uses the CTG.INI file to establish a connection to a <strong>CICS</strong> region.<br />

We defined the server connection to our <strong>CICS</strong> TS region as shown in Figure 2-6<br />

on page 30.<br />
