To view the status of all connections, issue the command CEMT INQ CONN. <strong>The</strong><br />

<strong>The</strong> inquiry of connection definitions is useful because it displays all the defined<br />

connections and also the netnames for each connection. <strong>The</strong> status of all EXCI<br />

connections should be Ins, although this does not mean any sessions are<br />

acquired.<br />

View status of EXCI pipes<br />

To display the individual status of each session, we entered the command:<br />

CEMT INQ NETNAME(SCSCTG5)<br />

where SCSCTG5 is the netname for our connection (as defined in our DFHJVPIPE<br />

variable). <strong>The</strong> output is shown in Figure 4-6 on page 78.<br />
