<strong>The</strong> default server must be restarted for the Java system property to be<br />

activated. <strong>The</strong> JNI trace output will now go to the file ctgjni.trc in the <strong>WebSphere</strong><br />

logs directory.<br />

Note: If a plain file name is specified for the JNI Java system property, the file will<br />

be created in the <strong>WebSphere</strong> bin directory, in \<strong>WebSphere</strong>\AppServer\bin.<br />

Tip: <strong>CICS</strong> TG Java class library JNI trace is only produced when using a local<br />

<strong>Gateway</strong>. When using a remote <strong>Gateway</strong> daemon, the JNI trace must be<br />

enabled on the remote <strong>Gateway</strong> machine. For information about how to enable<br />

JNI trace on a <strong>Gateway</strong> daemon, refer to 7.4.2, “Tracing” on page 170.<br />
