2. If prompted, tap Turn sync on. This synchronizes your<br />

books you have previously selected between your Books<br />

account and your device.<br />

3. To add more books to your library, tap Shop in the<br />

upper-right Application bar.<br />

A pop-up displays the Android Market Terms of Service and the<br />

Google Books Terms of Service. Read each document and tap<br />

Accept.<br />

Browse the selection of Google eBooks, which are arranged in<br />

categories like New Arrivals, Top Selling, Top Rated, Top Free, and<br />

many more. There is also an additional Category panel on that can<br />

also provide easy access.<br />

4. To find a book by title or author name, tap Search on<br />

the Books main screen or tap Shop ➔ Search.<br />

5. Tap (Menu) for these options:<br />

Make available offline: Mark books to make them available offline.<br />

Touch below a book cover to mark it with a pin and then tap<br />

Done. Just reverse this process to remove books from your device.<br />

Accounts: Set the account to use.<br />

Refresh: If a book in your library does not appear on your device,<br />

use this option to update the display.<br />

Help: Displays various Book help information. Tap Help Center to<br />

get additional Google Book information.<br />

6. Tap the cover of a book to start reading.<br />

Once the book displays, sweep across the screen to turn<br />

the page or tap for a table of contents. Tap to<br />

set Show, Brightness, Text settings, and Line height.<br />

7. To contact customer support, report an issue, and display<br />

more Google eBooks information, from a Home screen, tap<br />

(Apps) ➔ (Books) ➔ (Menu) ➔ Help.<br />

Browser<br />

Your device includes a full HTML Browser, to access the internet.<br />

For more information, refer to “Browser” on page 117.<br />

Tip: A shortcut to Browser appears on the main Home screen by default.<br />
