Deleting a message thread<br />

1. From a Home screen, tap<br />

(Messaging).<br />

(Apps) ➔<br />

2. Touch and hold a message from the Messages list, then<br />

select Delete thread.<br />

3. At the prompt, tap Delete to delete or Cancel to exit.<br />

Deleting a single message<br />

1. From a Home screen, tap<br />

(Messaging).<br />

(Apps) ➔<br />

2. Open a message to reveal the message string.<br />

3. Touch and hold a message bubble, then select Delete<br />

message.<br />

4. At the prompt, tap Delete to delete or Cancel to exit.<br />

Deleting multiple messages<br />

1. From a Home screen, tap<br />

(Messaging).<br />

(Apps) ➔<br />

2. Tap ➔ Delete threads.<br />

3. Tap each message thread you want to delete. A check<br />

mark displays beside each selected message.<br />

4. Tap Delete.<br />

5. At the prompt, tap Delete to delete or Cancel to end the<br />

process.<br />

Note: If prompted, select to also delete protected threads.<br />

Message Search<br />

You can search through your messages by using the Message<br />

Search feature.<br />

1. From a Home screen, tap<br />

(Messaging).<br />

(Apps) ➔<br />

2. Tap (Search).<br />

3. Use the on-screen keypad/keyboard to enter a word or<br />

phrase in which to search, then tap .<br />

4. All messages that contain the entered search string<br />

display.
