addressed <strong>the</strong> lack <strong>of</strong> <strong>interior</strong> architectural elements for several specific parts <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />

buildings and lack <strong>of</strong> photorealistic image rendering. One <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> mentioned <strong>critical</strong><br />

points was <strong>the</strong> ‘ease <strong>of</strong> use’ attribute. Users had complains about <strong>the</strong> ‘ease <strong>of</strong> use’ <strong>of</strong><br />

CAAD s<strong>of</strong>tware, claiming that general purpose CAAD s<strong>of</strong>tware does not assist in a<br />

user friendly fashion. Here it might be suggested that in an <strong>interior</strong> architectural<br />

specific CAAD s<strong>of</strong>tware package <strong>the</strong>re would be a large set <strong>of</strong> built in <strong>interior</strong><br />

architectural libraries and proper tools for photorealistic rendering. Thus, it would be<br />

easy to operate in a flexible manner.<br />

After ga<strong>the</strong>ring features <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> CAAD s<strong>of</strong>tware and <strong>the</strong> user needs, <strong>the</strong> following<br />

chapter <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>the</strong>sis is dedicated to <strong>the</strong> proposed model. This proposed model aims at<br />

resolving <strong>the</strong> conflicts between general s<strong>of</strong>tware packages and puts user needs on top<br />

<strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> solution stack. The proposed model is presented based on a feature and quality<br />

attribute list in relation to <strong>the</strong> end users. However, a s<strong>of</strong>tware engineering approach<br />

should not be expected at any level.<br />

To sum up, all researches and analyses given with this <strong>the</strong>sis infer that <strong>the</strong>re is an<br />

<strong>absence</strong> for domain specific CAAD s<strong>of</strong>tware in <strong>the</strong> education and market dedicated<br />

to <strong>interior</strong> architecture. The concluding proposed model is extracted from <strong>the</strong> results<br />

<strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> analyses <strong>of</strong> many general purpose and domain specific s<strong>of</strong>tware packages, and<br />

a large questionnaire and interview in a wide spectrum <strong>of</strong> users. This model can be<br />

used as a reference for <strong>the</strong> future implementations in order to realize specific CAAD<br />

s<strong>of</strong>tware for <strong>interior</strong> architects to meet <strong>the</strong>ir needs and to augment to solve <strong>the</strong>ir real<br />

life problems.<br />
