After collecting information about the students’ background in computer use, as stated in the ‘assumption 1’(chapter 3.2.1.1) the most common software packages in interior architectural design are revealed respectively as; AutoCAD which is a general purpose 2D drawing and modeling software, 3D Studio Max which is a general purpose 3D modeling software, Photoshop 8 which is a 2D image processing software, SketchUp 9 which is a software supporting conceptual design and ArchiCAD which is an architectural based software (Figure 3.6).
